Hi, I'm Sandra
Sandra M. Rebeor is a mom of a wonderful teen, Luke, who is on the Autism Spectrum. She earned her Psy.D. in Health and Wellness and teaches numerous courses in the wellness arena, including stress management, psychology, and applied behavioral sciences at the University of Arizona Global Campus. Dr. Rebeor holds certifications in Group Fitness and Youth Fitness with the American Council on Exercise and is certified as an Autism Exercise Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. She is also a Resilience and Thriving Facilitator and certified as a Worksite Wellness Program Manager - both through the National Wellness Institute. She volunteers in the community by serving as a seasonal track and field parent coach. Given her professional background and personal experiences as a mom, Dr. Rebeor loves connecting with other caregivers of youth or adults with special needs, share her knowledge, and help to improve the lives of fellow caregivers and families. She encourages all individuals to "pay it forward" by sharing their knowledge with others so that more families and communities can enjoy a higher quality of life!

"I’m happy to report we’ve made excellent gains in our nutrition :) We have incorporated healthier food choices and I have cut back significantly on my alcohol intake. I no longer crave unhealthy food as an outlet and have actually chosen to get more sleep rather than stay awake and eat bad foods.
We’ve also made a goal to do two family activities a month that get our son out in the community whether it’s the park, church or birthday parties etc. Work life balance has also been improved for both myself and my husband. He has hired another employee which will take a tremendous load off of him. My son has been doing awesome and has recently turned a corner with requesting things without prompts (6-7 word requests)! His diet is still expanding and I’m proud to say we added hard boiled eggs and cheese to round out his dairy component that was lacking."
